Chariot of fire

Had the Leica M9 with me today and a 50mm Elmar-m bolted to the front. Squeezed off a couple of quickies as the chariot of fire had literally just clocked a hundred thousand.

Not to shabby for a 10 year old motor

Thrussington

Out and about with the M9 and the 50mm Elmar-M. Nothing special just had a little walk and squeezed a few off.
Although shots are presented as black and white, I have taken to setting the white balance manually. This is proving to be a good move as there is consistency in the colour DNG files.

DNG being the raw data off the sensor. The sensor "sees" colour, but I have the M9 create a black and white .jpeg at the time of writing.
I have shamelessly adopted both principles from Thorsten Overgaard

As is usual images are straight off the mem card no fiddling about. Could the images be improved in post processing, no doubt. However  I much prefer the act of taking than editing. In line with Thorsten, I try to get it right in the camera in the first place.

Took this shot to try and invoke some Moire, M9 has it covered.
Woman with dog.  Looks better cropped but hey ho.
Church. Sky is blown out but never mind
Stumped. Quite pleased with this shot. Seems to have some 'pop' to it, Elmar-m working well.
